American Valet Parking Response
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how American Valet Parking Response, operating the AVPR One parking app, collects, uses, and protects information for QR parking payments, license plate intake, permit validation, citations, reporting, customer support, and transactional parking messages.
What we collect
The public parking flow may collect information you provide or that is generated by a parking session, including license plate number, mobile phone number, parking location or zone, session timing, selected rate, permit or citation details, payment status, support messages, service-notice history, and limited device or request metadata needed to operate the service securely.
How we use information
AVPR One uses this information to activate parking sessions, validate plates, permits, and payments, send receipts and reminders, provide extension links, support voice and SMS updates, reconcile payments, investigate support issues, generate operational reports, improve service reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce posted location rules.
SMS and voice messaging
If you provide a mobile number or opt in to text or voice updates, you may receive transactional parking messages from AVPR One, including confirmations, receipts, reminders, extension links, support responses, account or session notices, and service notices related to the parking location. Message frequency varies by parking activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Opt-in data and sharing
Mobile opt-in data, text messaging originator opt-in data, and messaging consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. AVPR One may share information with service providers only as needed to operate parking sessions, deliver messages, process payments, provide support, secure the system, and maintain business records.
Service providers
We may use service providers for payment processing, messaging, hosting, analytics, customer support, security, and operational reporting. These providers are used to operate the service and are not authorized to sell parking information or use it for their own marketing.
Retention and payments
Session and payment records may be retained for operations, support, compliance, fraud review, and legal recordkeeping for as long as reasonably necessary. Payment details are handled by secure third-party payment infrastructure. AVPR One does not store raw card numbers in the public payment flow.
Your choices
You can opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP. You can request help by replying HELP. Opting out may limit our ability to send parking reminders, receipts, extension links, or support updates by text. You may contact us to ask about parking records associated with your plate, phone number, or payment session.
Parking ALPR policy
Specific private parking locations may also operate Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) cameras under a separate parking policy. See the ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) Usage & Privacy Policy for covered facilities. Parking policies are listed at Parking Policies.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, legal requirements, or operational practices change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
